Dri-Design
Rainscreen façades
Dri-Design rainscreen façade installs faster than many comparable systems and can be directly fixed to the external skin of Kingspan Karrier Panels or be fixed to top hats to form a ventilated cavity with a traditional construction method. The cassettes come in three variations - flat, tapered, and shadow.

Profile
Flat
Key Features
Solid aluminium construction - a single-skin aluminium cassette system, not an aluminium composite panel.
Three-dimensional design flexibility - Flat, Shadow and Tapered cassette options allow variation in depth, size and façade expression.
Flexible cassette sizes - different cassette types and dimensions can be combined across the façade to create varied patterns and articulation.
Dry joint system - no sealants or gaskets required in the face joints
Integrated water management - a self-draining perimeter gutter helps manage water and minimise staining and sediment streaks.
Project Spotlight

Edith Cowan University Sciences Building
The Edith Cowan University Sciences Building combines innovative architecture with high-performance building envelope solutions. Kingspan Architectural systems helped deliver an energy-efficient, visually iconic facility featuring the world's largest permanent periodic table, creating a landmark for science education while supporting long-term thermal performance and design excellence.
Products used
- Dri-Design and Hook-On cassettes — incorporating Hook-On cassettes for the periodic table feature, alongside Flat and Shadow Dri-Design cassettes across the façade to create depth, texture and visual interest.
- Kingspan Wall Panels — used as part of the building envelope to deliver thermal performance, energy efficiency and fire performance behind the rainscreen façade.
